FDA will not require labeling of genetically engineered animals sold as food
This makes me so upset. The real losers here are the lower-income families who don’t have access to non-gmo food products. At least Whole Foods has an obligation to provide the healthiest, less treated premium meats, whereas Safeway and other types of stores’ main concern is to push cheaper foods. I think this is one of the scariest trends we’re seeing in the US today.
